Polygraphie

Die Polygraphie dient zur Feststellung schlafbezogener Atemstörungen.

Hierzu wird mit einem kleinen Gerät, welches der Patient über Nacht anlegt, gemessen ob relevante Atempausen mit entsprechender Sauerstoffentsättigung des Blutes vorhanden sind.

Bei folgenden Symptomen kann eine Polygraphie sinnvoll sein:

  • Bluthochdruck
  • Schlafstörungen
  • Tagesmüdigkeit
  • Schnarchen
  • Gedächtnis- und Konzentrationsstörungen
  • Übergewicht
  • Diabetes
  • Herzrhythmusstörungen
  • nach Schlaganfällen oder Herzinfarkten

Wird eine schlafbezogene Atemstörung festgestellt ist eine weiterführende Untersuchung in einem Schlaflabor erforderlich.
